fun with the fish eye lens

Heather, the photography teacher for the 10-13 year olds brought in her professional camera and fish eye lens. Everyone got a chance to take photos with this camera. It gives a fun super wide perspective that the children had never seen before.

I like this this picture because it's low and cool!

I could finally see the sun shining!

I love that sky, it reminds me of summer!

I like how they write on the walls.

photography opening at Geechee Girl cafe

This is the first post for the Goodlands photography program. Good timing because Monday night we had a photography opening and sale at the Geechee Girl Rice Cafe that needs to be bragged about. It will raise money for the Goodlands program. The photos were taken by the children and were matted and framed for sale. It is a beautiful display and the walls shined with the children's energy and vision. There was a good turnout on a cold night and everyone enjoyed good food and drink. The photos will up for 1 month at the restaurant if you would like to check them out and you can also purchase them through the Goodlands website.
Check back soon to see some new photos by the children!
